That's what the dictionary¹ says about Stammtisch. There's obviously more to it than that. You probably know it refers to a traditional gathering of the same people at the same table to sit, drink, and talk. Everybody else knows not to sit there on that day.We at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus like to call it a community table, where everyone is welcome.
